One of the nice things about nature is that if you unleash your imagination and keep your eyes open you can see many beautiful and interesting things beyond the obvious, perhaps even a fish swimming in the desert. In this image, made on the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands, a big fish, in the form of a slab of light colored rock, is swimming by with its mouth open and eyes squinting in the bright sun, ready to take the bait . . . a small bouquet of bright red Indian Paint Brush. Finding this image was a much fun as I had with my childhood friends lying on the lawn discovering all manner of flora and fauna in the clouds.
